John served in the RCAF for 12 years before retiring.
Predeceased by his father, Kenneth Ross Sample, John is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Kay) Sample his wife and love of his life of 42 years, Jean daughters, Vanessa and Jessica granddaughter, Selena grandsons, Cody and Conner sisters, Lesley (Kevin), Kathy (Steven), Elizabeth (Luc), and Jennifer (Maynard) brother, Joe (Chloe) and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved very much. Born in Minnedosa, MB on February 24, 1952. John passed away on Januin the presence of family.
